Bigo’s work investigates how perception is reorganized through bodily contact within a technologically seamless environment. Treating the audience’s body as the primary medium, she creates installations in which instruction, material, and spatial conditions guide viewers into direct contact with objects and surfaces. Through these embodied actions—rather than acts of observation—perceptual transformation occurs, revealing shifting boundaries between subject and obaject. Recent solo exhibitions include Splint (2024, Onsu Gong-Gan), Omni-presence (2018, ONE AND J.+1), and Wishy-Washy Bodies (2017, Centre A, Vancouver). Group exhibitions include Perform 2019: Link in-out (2019, Ilmin Museum of Art), Iridescent (2022, MMCA Goyang Residency), Pounding Heart (2023, This Is Not a Church), and SangSangHwaHwa: Wildflowers (2023, Kimhongdo Art Museum). She has also presented performances such as A Score for Hands (2019, Weekend) and TRACERS 2 (2020, Platform-L).
